Lot of Faces for A Word A Week Challenge I found in a beautiful park in France, at the place called Clos Luce in the city of Amboise on Loire river. Leonardo da Vinci lived at the house and now you will find there his museum. Surrounding garden is very beautiful, with lots of devices invented by da Vinci, but also decorated with his works unusual way. Enjoy walking throug the park and meet some famous paintings.

For Mountain‘s challenge I take you to the highest mountains we have in Czech Republic. Their name is Krkonoše and they are located at the north part of our country. The highest peak, Sněžka (Snowy hill), is the Czech Republic’s highest point with an elevation of 5,256 ft (1,602 m). I visited it few years ago in April, when Spring was coming, weather was beautiful, flowers started to bloom and the peaks were still covered with snow, the springs were full of crystal clear water.

Beautiful mountains Krkonoše
In winter you can ski there, hike during summer / spring, but you can also go on horses :-).

How to travel there, if not by walk

A Word A Week Challenge for this week is Action. A few weeks before I wrote a post about the Czech tradition of going to the cottage for the weekend. I wrote about weekends that we spend with friends in the nature, at the Dashwood dorp on Kocába river. Today I show you how we spent the days there – playing volleyball, “nohejbal” (Czech speciality, similar to volleyball but played with your foots/legs and head).

Volleyball and “nohejbal” players

Ball players in Dashwood playground again
After the game you need to take a bath to wash away the dust or clay.
As a bonus I offer you also 2 pictures from Zakynthos and believe me, it’s me and my husband on it :-).

It really is my husband and me at Zakynthos island, Greece
Bonus number 2, me and my husband again, this time in aquapark in Nesebr in Bulgary.

A Word A Week Challenge – Hat challenge is very good for me, as I love hats and all the head covers, I have quite a lot of them in my closet and I wear one every day. But I wouldn’t bother you with photos of my head with hat, so I chose three collections for you.
The first one is a commercial for Staropramen brewery in Prague and I like it a lot. Staropramen beer is for everyone :-).

The second collection is from my favorite Baltic states, most of them are from Tallinn market. Next time I am there I will definitelly go for one!

Beautiful colorful (mostly) “hats” from Tallinn market. The bottom right is from Lithuania, castle Trakai
The last shot is from Prague Christmas Crafts Markets and there I already was succesfull, one of them I wear this winter. See the earings bottom right and left from them above the black hat with red string there is a blue-green one and that’s the one I have bought.
